Build it and they will come.

Early on I tried to share the vision I had for the property. Nobody was interested in joining me in this adventure. Some doubted that I would have the determination to see it through. I understood their doubts, because all I have is a few garden tools. But I am one who believes if with in God's will that He will give the desires of your heart. Since I always pray that my vision aligns with His, then I could believe even with a pair of scissors I could accomplished the tasks at hand. I wanted to record my early trips so one day I could look back in remembrance of what God provided.

Discussed how I had to pause after my mower was stolen. How it forced me to take a pause, which I believe God used to help me see a different perspective on my dream for The Story.

I shared the big vision I had for The Story for my friend Sara. Slow Magic is her favorite music group, and I laid out a plan for trying to get them to perform at The Story within 3 years.

Got to do one of my favorite things. Toured the property and my hometown with Justin and the Hurtubise friends. We cleared a path across the front part of the property. Enjoyed the teamwork!

My friend Jay came home to visit his family, and I gave him a tour of the property. He is knowledgeable about nature, so he gave me a master class on the various trees on the property. We also discovered a deer path. I was grateful to have God's hand in making a way to walk across the land.

Another trip to The Story. I mocked up a fire pit and showed off my lack of carpentry skills. I have since removed as the stones became an instrument to later breakout a window in a failed break in.
